Some of the animals that Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League receives are in need of a little extra care and help finding their forever homes. Under socialization, medical issues, behavioral issues and other various reasons may qualify these animals as a TLC Pet. However, some of our animals don’t have any of these issues and have simply just been looking for their forever home for an extended period of time. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League has several programs in place to aide our animals in their search for forever homes.
A Fospice Parent provides permanent fostering of older animals, long-term animals, and animals with medical or behavioral conditions which would preclude them from being placed in a loving home through the adoption program. All fospice animals will receive medical follow-up and supplies, as needed. Peggy Adams will provide routine follow-up care (palliative) for the diagnosed condition(s). The League will not provide emergency care or other care outside of the diagnosed condition(s).
The animals listed below are currently in our care and are in need a loving home. These animals have been more difficult to place for various reasons. Whatever the reason may be, there is a perfect home for each and every one of them. For more information about each animal and the programs they qualify for, please click on the animal's listing.
