Foundation Skills & Obsticals

Apr 21, 2016 6:00 PM - 6:50 PM

Ready to dive deeper and teach your dog more about different surfaces, Targeting and preparation for agility ? This is the class for you. We will be teaching the basics of teeter and wobble board work along with introduction to skills your dog will need for Rally and agility, including getting started on different obstacles and jumping. This is a fun class for dogs who are already well schooled and have a reliable sit stay. We cannot except dogs in this class who are reactive to other dogs or people. You must have teacher approval or have completed Basic obedience or Class to join this class. Dogs must be at least 8 months of age. Some work will be off leash so a reliable recall and crate will be required. A complete list will be sent to students before the first class. We will be starting off with crate games so it will be a fun experience for you and your canine partner. You will need to dress for an active class as you will be working along with your dog.

Fee: $60 - 6 Week/50 minute sessions (limited to 8 dogs)

***Note: We are committed to teaching you and your dog how to live and work together in a happy home. To do this, we need to make sure the participants in the classes are safe.  While we welcome everyone in classes, we do have a few restrictions to make sure it is a positive experience. We cannot allow dogs in classes that have the following behaviors:
*must wear a muzzle to be around other dogs or people
*aggressively bark/lunge at other dogs or people

We try to provide our instructors with training to make sure they use the most up to date and varied positive reinforcement methods to make class fun for you and your dog.

If your dog has the above behavior, we recommend you contact Dr. Lisa Radosta at 561.795.9398 or visit her website
