World Spay Day at
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League
Free Spay/Neuter Surgery
February 24, 2015
West Palm Beach, FL- (February 23, 2015) On the last Tuesday in February, World Spay Day shines a spotlight on the lifesaving power of spay/neuter and the need for affordable services, particularly in underserved communities. World Spay Day is the first and only international day of action to promote the spaying and neutering of pets and community cats to save animals' lives. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is offering on February 24, 2015, (tomorrow) free spay and neuter surgery at the League's West Palm Beach location, 3100/3200 N. Military Trail. The League's goal is to spay/neuter 300 cats this day.
The League will be checking in community/feral cats outside of the K-9 post op door at 8:00 am on February 24. Community/feral cats must be in a trap. Traps can be rented at the League. Community/feral cats will be checked out on Wednesday, February 25 at 9:00 am. Online registration is preferred by visiting www.PeggyAdams.org.
Although all domestic cat appointments are already filled on World Spay Day, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League's high quality/high volume low cost clinic has immediate openings.
Those wishing to donate to this event are encouraged to bring items such as: white rice, athletic/tube socks, standard sized pillow cases, emergency blankets, electric blankets and quart sized zip lock bags.
