40 Kittens from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League Take Flight to NY

Tuesday, June 20, 2017

WHAT? Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach through the graciousness of an anonymous donor will transport via private air plane, 40 kittens (3 to 5 months old) to North Shore Animal League America’s Port Washington, New York Adoption Center.

WHEN?

Tuesday, June 20, 2017

6:45 am to 7:30 am- Loading the 40 kittens at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

8:00 am- Atlantic Aviation PBI- Kittens will be loaded onto plane

WHY? Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is dedicated to providing shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals.  Due to it being kitten season in South Florida, there is an overabundance of cats in Palm Beach County.  Peggy Adams is partnering with North Shore Animal League America in New York so these kittens may be adopted by their forever families.  This overabundance of kittens is  yet another reminder that all animals should be spayed/neutered to end the surplus of homeless animals. All programs at Peggy Adams support the Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) initiative and its goal of saving all adoptable animals in Palm Beach County.

COUNTDOWN 2 ZERO INITIATIVE

All programs at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League support the Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) initiative and its goal of saving all adoptable animals in Palm Beach County.  C2Z was launched by Peggy Adams in 2014 in partnership with Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control (PBCACC).  As part of the C2Z effort, Peggy Adams and PBCACC host the Annual Countdown 2 Zero Mega-Adoption Event which brings together more than 30 local rescue groups and features more than 500 adoptable animals.  The 2017 event will take place on Saturday, September 9th, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.  For more information, please visit Countdown2Zero.org.
