Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League's 46th Annual Christmas Ball on December 7, at the Sailfish Club in Palm Beach was another sold-out event. This elegant, black-tie, holiday affair supported the mission of saving the lives of homeless, neglected and injured cats, dogs, puppies and kittens. Some lucky animals from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League took to the runway on November 14, 2017, at a private Palm Beach residence. This invitation-only cocktail party and fashion show introduced the many aspects of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League’s work on behalf of lost, abused and abandoned dogs and cats in Palm Beach County. The fashion show featured the elegant lines and exquisite hues of Leggiadro knits as well as delightful pet couture from Jupiter’s Pucci & Catana Luxury Pet Boutique and Woofgang Bakery & Grooming of Palm Beach. The Fourth Annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption event resulted in 273 pets finding forever homes! Presented by The Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc. and Petco Foundation and hosted by Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, C2Z took place on October 14, 2017, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. This annual event was a collaborative effort of 30 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County.
