Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League opened their Kitten Nursery last summer in a revolutionary approach to saving lives of more newborn kittens that require 24-hour care to survive. The League is pleased to announce that they will expand the Kitten Nursery this June to accommodate the increasing number of kittens in Palm Beach County needing this type of care. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League will literally shelter hundreds and hundreds of cats and kittens during Kitten Season and we need the community’s help. The Kitten Shower will take place Saturday, April 22, from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday, April 23, from 2pm to 4pm at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (3100/3200 N. Military Trail) in West Palm Beach. Guests who attend the Kitten Shower will enjoy light refreshments, games, demonstrations and so much more! Nearly 100 members of the Grace Society of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League enjoyed a splendid evening on March 22 at the home of James Berwind and Kevin Clark. The reception honored Society members’ exceptional support for the League’s life-saving work.

Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization, is looking to add 150 to 200 more foster parents before the end of this June. Currently the League has 157 active foster homes and 17 iFoster volunteers (a program developed for those who are 10-17 years of age).

Scenthound, the convenient and affordable way for dog parents to get routine care and clips for their dogs, recently presented a check in the amount of $1,875.00 to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. The money was generated from Scenthound’s dog wash stations at the recent Paws in the Park event held on Saturday, February 12, 2017 at the Downtown Waterfront Park in West Palm Beach and the Peggy Adams Walk for the Animals event held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens. Over one thousand people along with their adorable pets gathered on this beautiful South Florida day to raise money and awareness for the League's life-saving mission. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is working hard to help end euthanasia because of pet-overpopulation by providing affordable services to Palm Beach County. On February 28, 2017, World Spay Day, the League has set a goal to spay/neuter a total of 250 owned cats for free. This event is open to domestic cats belonging to ALL residents of Palm Beach County, Florida.
