This elegant holiday event supports the mission of helping homeless, neglected or injured dogs and cats. Pauline Pitt, a devoted League supporter and board member served as Chairwoman of this very successful event again this year.

Palm Beach County Prepares for Effects of Hurricane Matthew

With sustained wind speeds of 145 MPH (Category 4), Hurricane Matthew is currently located approximately 600 miles southeast of Palm Beach County. Matthew is currently moving N at 10 MPH, and this general motion is forecast to continue through Wednesday night with a turn toward the north- northwest.

Palm Beach County, FL- (August 22, 2016) The Third Annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event, presented by The Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc., will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 10 am to 5 pm inside the air-conditioned Palm Beach County Convention Center (650 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach). This free event will feature nearly 1,000 of Palm Beach County's best dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies available for adoption.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League teamed up with Telemundo 51 to host NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations’ Clear the Shelters second annual nationwide pet adoption drive on July 23, which resulted in 106 pets adopted from the League that day and over 20,000 pets nationwide found forever homes.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL- Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League will host the Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 22, 2016, beginning at 10:00am until 12:00pm at the League located at 3100/3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach. The ceremony will begin at 10 am. This event is officiated by Father Bernie Sheffield and Rabbi Loring Frank, who will bless all pets and also address pet parents gathering together to celebrate the animals that bring joy to our lives. With a suggested $10 donation, guests receive a professional photo download and a certificate of blessing.

Palm Beach, FL – Close to 70 people attended the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic for Palm Beach Island Cats on July 17 at Nick & Johnnie’s. It was a record number for the event.
