Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is joining North Shore Animal League America, and more than 100 shelter partners across the country, to celebrate Hallmark Channel’s Kitten Bowl IV game with a Kitten Bowl Party event. The highlight is finding homes for adoptable cats and kittens as well as dogs and puppies.

REGISTER TO WALK OR FORM A TEAM TODAY!

As part of a unique new program in Vieques, a tiny island off Puerto Rico, The Humane Society of the United States is coordinating the transport of 30 homeless dogs from Vieques Humane Society to Florida for adoption. The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League will be holding the dogs throughout a 15-day quarantine period and then working with other animal shelters throughout the state to facilitate adoptions. Georgina Bloomberg, daughter of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is financing the transport and providing her private plane.

PALM BEACH, FL-A sell-out crowd of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League supporters attended the League's 45th Annual Christmas Ball on December 8, at the Sailfish Club in Palm Beach. This elegant holiday event supports the mission of helping homeless, neglected or injured dogs and cats. Pauline Pitt, a devoted League supporter and board member served as Chairwoman of this very successful event again this year.

Palm Beach County Prepares for Effects of Hurricane Matthew

With sustained wind speeds of 145 MPH (Category 4), Hurricane Matthew is currently located approximately 600 miles southeast of Palm Beach County. Matthew is currently moving N at 10 MPH, and this general motion is forecast to continue through Wednesday night with a turn toward the north- northwest.

Palm Beach County, FL- (August 22, 2016) The Third Annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event, presented by The Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc., will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 10 am to 5 pm inside the air-conditioned Palm Beach County Convention Center (650 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach). This free event will feature nearly 1,000 of Palm Beach County's best dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies available for adoption.

Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2016

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League teamed up with Telemundo 51 to host NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations’ Clear the Shelters second annual nationwide pet adoption drive on July 23, which resulted in 106 pets adopted from the League that day and over 20,000 pets nationwide found forever homes.
