The Fourth Annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption event resulted in 273 pets finding forever homes! Presented by The Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc. and Petco Foundation and hosted by Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, C2Z took place on October 14, 2017, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. This annual event was a collaborative effort of 30 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County. The fourth annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event, presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc. and Petco Foundation, will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 10 am to 5 pm inside the air-conditioned Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. This free event is the largest ever local pet adoption event that will feature close to 1,000 animals (dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, rabbits, birds and guinea pigs) seeking new families and homes.

North Shore Animal League America is joining forces with Zappos for Good, the charitable arm of Zappos.com for “Friends On Us Fridays,” on Friday, October 13th at Miami-Dade Animal Services, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, and Peggy Adams. Zappos.com is a service company at the core. They are extending their special brand of service to customers in a different way be rescuing both pets and humans and uniting them as best friends. That’s why they will be sponsoring FREE adoptions for approved adopters at local area shelters. This means Zappos will cover all qualifying adoption fees for select shelters each Friday, for both dogs and cats! Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League will host the Annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 9:30 am at Keiser University (Flagship Campus) 2600 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach 33409. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am. This event is officiated by Father Frank and Rabbi Frank, who will bless all pets and also address pet parents gathering together to celebrate the animals that bring joy to our lives. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League announced today that it will reopen to the public for adoption services only this Saturday, September 16, 2017 through Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 11am-6pm. Beginning on Monday, September 18, 2017, Peggy Adams will resume all of their services. Peggy Adams is located at 3100/3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach.
