Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League announced today that it will reopen to the public for adoption services only this Saturday, September 16, 2017 through Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 11am-6pm. Beginning on Monday, September 18, 2017, Peggy Adams will resume all of their services. Peggy Adams is located at 3100/3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach. The fourth annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event, presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc. and Petco Foundation that was scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2017, has been postponed due to the projected hurricane. The largest one-day adoption event that features close to 1,000 animals (dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, rabbits, birds and guinea pigs) has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017, in the air-conditioned Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach will be flying approximately 129 kittens in a chartered plane to Boston, MA Signature Flight Support Airport, to find forever homes in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine thanks to Peggy Adams partnership with Animal Rescue League of Boston, Potter League for Animals, Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, and Salem Animal Rescue League and Darbster Kitty in New Hampshire.

For those who are interested in learning how to safely and humanely trap, manage cats in your neighborhood and reduce the outdoor cat population numbers, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is offering TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) Trapping classes the last Sunday of each month.
