Peggy’s Pantry and the Bank of Belle Glade Are Helping Local Pet Owners during Food Drive

West Palm Beach, & Belle Glade, FL (October 1, 2018) Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is pleased to announce that they are partnering with the Bank of Belle Glade to help local pets in need through Peggy’s Pantry to bridge the gap for so many in the community who are struggling to feed their beloved pets. 

For those wishing to help local pets in need, pet item donations can be dropped off at the Bank of Belle Glade (located at 108 SE Ave D, Belle Glade, FL 33340) during bank hours (Monday-Thursday 9 am to 3 pm, Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm).  Donated items will then be distributed to the public for their pets at the Bank of Belle Glade on Wednesdays from 9 am to 1 pm starting October 10th.

Donated items that are needed include: wet, canned dog food; wet, canned cat food; cat carriers; cat litter; food bowls; cat and dog treats (no rawhides); leashes, harnesses and collars; and one and two-gallon Ziplock bags.

Peggy’s Pantry assists struggling families located in Palm Beach County feed their pets for six months.  They also offer low cost vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries for struggling pet owners.  Peggy Adams’ goal is to keep families and their fur members together and out of the shelter.  They recognize the important bond between people and animals.  Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League believes this bond should not be broken or torn apart due to financial setbacks.
