Oh hi! Are you here to give me lots of love and affection? I'm Lily, a friendly, fun and full of life kitty cat who's just as pretty as the flower I'm named after - inside and out! I have an adorable purr-sonality and I genuinely love people. And I'm pretty good at getting them to love me back. I'll pull out my bag of tricks if necessary. First, the happy greeting with lots of body rubs back and forth across your legs. Then the body flop to the ground while rolling around looking oh-so-cute. Then I pull out the big guns - gentle kisses on your hand…you smile, say "Awww!" and I know you're hooked! Now I just need to find that someone I can hook for life!I have tested positive for FIV. Feline Immuno-deficiency is a slow virus that affects a cat's immune system over a period of years. It's not contagious to humans or dogs, and isn't easily passed between cats. The virus is passed by blood transfusion or bite wounds. FIV positive cats can lead long, healthy, happy lives. If you decide to bring me home, know that you are doing a very noble thing. Although my lifespan may be shorter than that of a normal cat, my life can still be filled with happiness. Whatever length my life ends up being, my time can be joy-filled thanks to you.Because I am FIV positive, I qualify for the Fospice program. Foster me and all my routine medical care, food, medication and other supplies will be provided by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, free of charge. If you are interested in fostering me or learning more about FIV, please speak with an Adoption Coordinator.
