About the Program
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is excited to launch our Internship Program, which is focused on helping students gain valuable knowledge & experience while saving the lives of animals in need.
Our goal is to provide a well-rounded experience in the intern’s field of study and teach our interns what it takes to work in a professional environment while educating them about homeless feline and canine pet populations. As an intern, you can expect to gain first-hand experience to help you fulfill your career aspirations.
Internships – Not Currently Accepting Applications:
Education Intern (Unpaid): As an Education Intern, you will obtain first-hand, tangible experience by working alongside the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League's Education team to create, develop and implement a youth-based curriculum series.

Marketing Intern (Unpaid): As a Marketing Intern, you will obtain first-hand, tangible experience by working alongside the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League's Marketing team to create a marketing plan for the Working Cat Program.

Animal Care & Management Intern (Unpaid): As a Marketing Intern, you will obtain first-hand, tangible experience by working alongside the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League's Animal Care team in the facilitation of adoptions by providing a high quality of care to the animals in the shelter. The intern will also have the opportunity to assist the Management team with meeting operational and administrative objectives.
