5-Week Intermediate Obedience Course
Through training and learning, you and your dog develop a better understanding of one another. The skills taught in this class help build a more confident, working partnership between you and your dog with improved focus and motivation. This cornerstone class prepares dog/handler teams to continue their training journey by refining basic skills and adding intermediate ones while improving impulse control and attention. Walking on a loose lead, stays, come when called, and some Canine Good Citizen skills such as polite greetings and accepting a friendly stranger are included.
Prerequisite: This class is for dogs 16 weeks and older that get along well with other dogs and people (friendly or disinterested; no barking or lunging at others) as we may do some off-leash work in this class. Successful completion of Basic Obedience, Level 1 (or similar entry-level obedience class).
