WHY?
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is dedicated to providing shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals.  Due to it being kitten season in South Florida, there is an overabundance of cats in Palm Beach County.  Peggy Adams is partnering with North Shore Animal League America in New York so these kittens may be adopted by their forever families.  This overabundance of kittens is  yet another reminder that all animals should be spayed/neutered to end the surplus of homeless animals. All programs at Peggy Adams support the Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) initiative and its goal of saving all adoptable animals in Palm Beach County.

COUNTDOWN 2 ZERO INITIATIVE

All programs at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League support the Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) initiative and its goal of saving all adoptable animals in Palm Beach County.  C2Z was launched by Peggy Adams in 2014 in partnership with Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control (PBCACC).  As part of the C2Z effort, Peggy Adams and PBCACC host the Annual Countdown 2 Zero Mega-Adoption Event which brings together more than 20 local rescue groups and features more than 800 adoptable animals.  The 2018 event will take place on Saturday, September 8th, at the South Florida Fairgrounds.  For more information, please visit Countdown2Zero.org.
