This year’s walk mascots are sisters Joy and Koko-two of 38 dogs rescued in February 2019 inside a Palm Beach Gardens home. Best friends Jillesia and Mariah and their families heard about the story of these dogs and decided they wanted to give two of them loving homes. They fell in love with Joy and Koko and now all four girls (Jillesia, Mariah, Joy, and Koko) are inseparable! Meet them at this year’s Walk for the Animals where Joy and Koko, accompanied by their new families and friends, will lead the Walk in support of all the animals at Peggy Adams waiting for their forever homes!
Although pre-registration was encouraged, participants can still register to walk at the event. Each registrant who raises or donates at least $35 will receive a free t-shirt and a bandana (while supplies last). There are also many fundraising opportunities to earn amazing incentives.
