Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League Steps in to Help Those Affected by the Government Shutdown

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is aware that those affected by the government shutdown might need some assistance in feeding their beloved pets.  That is why the League is currently offering help, through Peggy’s Pantry, by providing life essential supplies such as wet and dry food for both cats and dogs.

Peggy’s Pantry is a program that helps temporarily assist families with feeding their pets. “Peggy's Pantry is here to assist local Palm Beach County families who might be having a difficult time caring for their pets,” explains Rich Anderson, Executive Director/CEO of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. “Peggy’s Pantry offers supplies, and referrals/vouchers for low cost vet care, vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries for their pets.  The primary goal of Peggy’s Pantry is to keep pets with the people who love them and out of shelters,” Anderson continues.  “We hope that those affected by the government shutdown who need help caring for their pets contact Peggy Adams for assistance,” concludes Anderson.
