dog adoption

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 1, 2020) – The directive to ‘shelter’ in place and remain at home for an extended period has driven most of us to stay socially connected through our social media channels. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League has come up with an ingenious diversion for shelter pet owners searching for something new to do without leaving their home. From today through April 30, 2020, the popular shelter and pet adoption center is accepting submissions for user-generated content in the forms of video footage and still photography that portray the fun, funny, fuzzy and fabulous moments of life with an adopted cat or dog. Selected images and clips will be added to the center’s next promotional video which is a key component in a significant new ad campaign for the center, created by West Palm Beach-based O’Donnell Agency.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League has assembled $350.00 in prizes for those who submit the winning visual assets in a number of categories. Gift cards, a pet-themed prize basket, pet photography courses and a luxury dog bed are all part of the treasure-trove that participants can win. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on quality, authenticity, humor and those unforgettable moments that melt our hearts.

“The biggest prize, though, is having your pet – or you and your pet -- become part of a video with a big reach and that will ultimately help save the lives of many other animals,” said Rich Anderson, Executive Director and CEO of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

“Anyone who has ever rescued an animal knows how much more rewarding it is to share a life with a pet whose life you’ve saved,” said Anderson. “We want to show and tell that story first-hand, with real content, through the eyes of people who have adopted an animal.”

Adopted pet parents must submit their photos and videos by uploading them online at  or emailing them directly to Submissions are limited to two still photos or two videos of no more than 0:30 seconds each.
