The Palm Beach Post Online - Hurricane Dorian: Palm Beach County rallying to get help to the Bahamas

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League: The organization and other shelters are working with BAARK (Bahamas Alliance for Animal Rights and Kindness), The Bahamas Humane Society, The Veterinary Medical Association of the Bahamas and The Ministry of Agriculture, along with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), to determine the best way to help in the aftermath of the hurricane. Now through Sunday, Peggy Adams is offering adoptions of pets currently at the shelter with the adoption fees waived, in anticipation of accepting animals rescued from the affected islands.
