They also will receive a 20 percent lifetime discount on heartworm testing, heartworm/flea/tick preventatives, wellness services and a 20 percent lifetime discount in the Shaggy Shop boutique located at Peggy Adams.

Military personnel currently on Active Duty must provide Peggy Adams with a copy of their current original orders or Common Access Card (CAC Card). Ronald Rodd, a Peggy Adams Call Center employee and a Gulf War Veteran, doesn’t know what he’d do without his service dog Nellie. “She’s with me 24 hours a day,” he says. “I have balance issues and if I fall down, Nellie helps me get up and is a constant support for me.”

Rich Anderson, Executive Director/CEO says, “I could not be prouder of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League for developing the Pet’s for Heroes program which recognizes the sacrifice and commitment those in the military and their families make for us daily by rewarding them with furever friends.”
