Communications Center Volunteer

Assists the public in the Call Center by answering phone calls, chat requests, social media requests. The Call Center receives upwards of 4,000 calls a month.  Duties include learning about all programs at the League to effectively and efficiently answer questions, direct calls to the appropriate departments as needed.

Hours/Shifts: 10AM-2PM; 12PM-4PM; 2PM-6PM


Client Services Phone Assistants

Answers phones at the Pavilion Front desk, assists clients calling for information regarding the wellness clinic, end of life services, medication sales, trap rentals, etc.

Hours/Shifts:  Scheduled daily from 8AM to 6PM.


Clinic – Administrative Assistant

Assists clients by answering calls on the surgery helpline, enters spay/neuter appointments application in database, retrieve voice mail messages and return calls to clients, responding to emails, using the animal database – follows-up on animals that missed their appointments to get them rescheduled, document scanning, etc.

Hours/Shifts: as scheduled Monday through Friday


Clinic – Surgery Appointment Confirmation Caller

Assists clients by calling to remind them of surgical appointments, reviewing drop-off times, reviewing pre-operative requirements and documenting any appointments that need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Hours/Shifts: as scheduled Monday through Friday


Donor Relations Assistant

Assists the Development Department with large mailings (stuffing envelopes, handwriting addresses on envelopes, etc.), making telephone calls to a certain list of donors, just to say “thank you” for their donation, assisting the event team with creating goodie bags for attendees, etc.

Hours/Shifts: as scheduled Monday through Friday


Facilities/Maintenance Volunteer

Assists the Facilities Department at the League by completing work orders assigned by the Facilities Director, cleaning, emptying trash cans, pressure cleaning, cleaning traps and carriers, etc.

Hours/Shifts: Daily 8AM to 11AM; 11AM-2PM; 2PM-5PM


Tour Guide

Volunteer Tour Guides are responsible for touring groups of children and/or adults, some with learning and physical challenges, through the Grace Pavilion, answering questions and offering an interactive and engaging experience. Tour should be between 45 minutes & 1 hour in duration.

Hours/Shifts: As needed


Vending Machine Support

Vending volunteers will perform a weekly inventory count and restock all campus vending machines including reconciling monies collected and picking up stock orders from Sam’s Club.

Hours/Shifts: Mondays, 9AM-12PM


Volunteer Program Assistant

Assists the Volunteer Manager by overseeing the volunteer office. Duties include processing applications, data entry, making and answering telephone calls and texts, answering emails, scheduling new volunteer interviews, creating volunteer badges, onboarding volunteers. 

Hours/shifts: Wednesday & Friday, 2PM-5PM
