Paw and Order Training Class

In the animal training system, behavior-based offenses are considered especially dreadful. In Palm Beach County, the dedicated trainers who work with these animals are members of an elite training squad known as The Special Behavior Unit.

These are their classes.

Fee: $15 per class

Class Schedule: This course is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

Time: Class length 1 ½ hours, 2:00pm - 3:30pm

Location: Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

This class will be unique each time as the topics covered will be tailored to the individual issues of each dog. Up to five dogs in one class. Common issues that may be covered are: jumping on people, resource guarding, separation anxiety, potty training, jumping on counters, fearful/nervous dogs, and begging for food. Once registered, email behavior@peggyadams.org or call 561-472-8815 to communicate with our trainers about your dog’s specific issue that you want help with. This will allow time to have the curriculum catered to your needs.

Please note: this class is not designed to handle or train reactive dogs. A reactive dog is one that continuously barks and lunges at people or other dogs. A separate Reactivity Class will be held for those dogs (check schedule for availability).
